Hi! My name is Jaime Walsh, and I am the co-founder of Sacral Health and the founder of Sovereign Birth.
I have been practicing massage since graduating from Mount Royal in 2013 and my husband Danny and I opened our clinic in 2018.
The goal of Sacral Health has always been to connect people with practitioners that will help them (re) discover the mind-body connection that is the true path to healing. With the addition of our pelvic health focus, we are still making that a reality for our clients.
Outside of Sacral Health, I founded Sovereign Birth in 2019, to offer women a way to birth outside the system. I am also a birth doula for all birthing women, regardless of whether they are having their babies in a hospital or at home. I deeply believe that all women deserve an advocate and unconditional support as they birth their baby earthside.
Birthwork was so familiar… the universe had plans for me.
As a birth doula, traditional birth attendant and childbirth educator, I have helped hundreds of women bring their babies into the world in an atmosphere of gentleness and love. I attend all births, no matter the setting. I also teach Holistic Prenatal classes with an emphasis on knowing that your body is made for this.
My path to Birth Work has been anything but traditional. In 2013 I jumped right in when I was invited by a friend to attend her unassisted free birth. There were four women in attendance to hold space and to offer support. The universe had other plans for me.
When I say that this birth changed my life, IT CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! At the time I thought I was just there in case the mom needed a massage, but the universe had other plans. It awoke in me a feeling I had never felt in this life time but was so familiar and recognizable from other life times and other dimensions. After the mom gave birth, we put her in the bath and started to go to work on cleaning the birth space and warming up food and doing laundry. I WAS FOREVER CHANGED. It all just felt so familiar, as if these women and myself had done this many times in many forms in many lives. The smell, the taste in the air and the energy that was flowing felt like a vortex had opened and sucked me in. I HAD BEEN BIRTHED INTO BIRTH.
As a massage therapist…
My goal in life is to change the world, one massage at a time. I’ve been practicing as an RMT since 2013 after graduating from Mount Royal University’s 2 year, 2200 hour Massage Therapy program. I am very confident in my abilities to intuitively know what your body is asking for and to provide the necessary modalities to achieve your wellness goals. My clients consistently comment that I “just know” where all the sore spots are. If you have recently been in some kind of accident and require massage or you just want to relieve the stress of everyday life.
Why we circle
The Circle is everyday ceremony: the invention of our most ancient Godmothers, who upon witnessing the myriad ways nature exalted this humble shape, claimed it as the spiritual center of their communities. Held by the simple rituals of opening & completion, honoring & appreciation, the Circle acts as a vehicle for both storytelling & transcending our stories. In Circle, we are conversing with the divine.”

Women have circled before time. It’s in our DNA, we need to be witnessed and exulted. It’s our sacred time to go deeper with ourselves and others. We come together on the Saturday closest to the new moon.
This is a VERY informal circle, all women are welcome. We will have an opening with compassionate witnessing (check in) and then a planned activity and closing. ****Babies under 6 months are welcome but once mobile are not permitted due to the nature of the activities.
