FAQs
-
The answer is, you undress to YOUR comfort level. When on the table the therapist will ONLY uncover the part of the body they are working on. You are covered completely at ALL times.
-
Again, this all depends on YOUR comfort level. As therapists we have zero preference as to if you choose or not choose to keep your underwear on.
-
This is a personal preference to you and whether you shaved your legs is NO concern to us. We are focused on how your tissues are feeling and if we can feel any pathologies in your tissues that we need to address.
-
First we have to tell all clients that At NO TIME should the client EVER EVER EVER un-drape themselves. If you remove the sheets at anytime by yourself with no warning to the therapist, your massage will be terminated and you will be asked to leave. NO refund will be given. The safety of our therapists and our clients is out #1 priority.
Following on from this, we are a clinic of health practitioners and professional massage therapists. Extra requests outside of our professional scope of practice will not be granted.
Please come to your appointment with good hygiene.
You will be guided to the treatment room by your practitioner and they will chat with you for a bit before inviting you to get undressed to your level of comfort and will wait outside of the room until you are ready and covered on the table. They will always knock first. Please be under the sheets provided.
All payment will take place at the desk after your treatment is done, so if you wish to leave a tip for your therapist you are welcome to do so at that time.
And one final request: Please relax and enjoy your treatment.

Acupuncture needles are very thin, about the same thickness as a human hair! Most people only feel a very small amount of pain or a ‘pinch’ during the initial insertion of the needles. After that there shouldn’t be any discomfort caused by the needle, but the patient may feel a variety of other sensations. This can include electrical sensations, pressure or welling, feeling of warmth, or a dull achy feeling at the sight of the needle.

▪ Fill out your patient intake form ahead of time
▪ Wear loose, comfortable clothing if possible. This will allow for easier access to acupuncture points on the legs and arms
▪ Avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol before your treatment
▪ Eat a light meal before acupuncture to assure you have appropriate nourishment for your treatment
▪ Schedule time after your appointment to rest and allow the effects of the treatment to settle
